Foster City Programs

Toddler Program (Ages: 12 months - 33 months)
  • Program Overview: Our Toddler Program is designed to create a prepared environment that nurtures the holistic development of children aged 12 months to 33 months. We focus on fostering social-emotional regulation, language development, and practical life skills through engaging activities.
  • Language Options: Parents can choose between English or Mandarin, with circles in both languages to enhance language acquisition. Our experience shows that children often enjoy participating in both languages, creating a rich learning experience.
  • Curriculum Highlights: At Odyssey, we strive to provide a space where your child will learn essential skills including:
    • Social/Emotional Regulation: Developing emotional intelligence and social skills through peer interactions.
    • Language Development: Engaging in activities that promote vocabulary growth and communication.

Practical Life Skills: Activities that encourage independence, such as dressing, cleaning, and self-care routines.

  • Our teachers observe each child closely, designing personalized lessons that promote independence and coordination. With a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of 1:6, children receive the attention they need to thrive.
  • Language Options: When both parents and teachers agree that a child is ready for the preschool program, they will gradually transition with at least one friend, ensuring a smooth and familiar change.
